The Netball Scoring App
If you’ve ever stood on the side of a netball court wondering what the score is, how long is left in the match (or even which quarter they are currently playing) then this is the app for you. It lets you keep track of the scores, shots and turnovers by quarter, by registering shots and goals with a single touch.
NetScore is designed for the spectator who wants to watch the match and not be distracted by having to record scores in a cumbersome way. On the other hand you are still interested in match statistics and shooting percentages for GS and GA separately either during or at the end of the match.
NetScore is also suitable for coaches to use in practice matches and training sessions. The shooting statistics within this intuitive app give you all the information you need right at the touch of a button. There is also a specialist Match Performance option that enables you to track non-scoring actions such as rebound and interceptions during a match.
Jon Wood, the original creator wrote “NetScore is a combination of all of the things that I wanted when watching my family play netball on a cold Sunday morning! I couldn’t find what I was looking for so I decided to write it myself! I hope you find this app a useful addition to your netball supporting, coaching and playing!”
At the end of 2023 it was taken over my me, Brett Brooks and I echo Jons words. I want to update NetScore for the new iOS versions and new phones and along the way streamline it and bring more features that people want.
